French Immersion in Nature Quebec
Learn French by the river
At the heart of a Quebec domain, language is learned in motion, in nature, between humans. Sleep in lakeside cabins and rediscover that warm atmosphere of family nights together.
3 to 7 day stays · Small groups · Near Montréal
How it works
You arrive at Domaine Pourki
35 minutes from Montreal, on the Richelieu River in Montérégie. Warm welcome, settle into your cabin or hut by the water. Rediscover that family vacation atmosphere.
You live French
No lectures. You practice French naturally: conversations by the water, outdoor activities (kayak, rabaska, hiking), exchanges around the campfire, shared meals. Like those summer evenings at the family cottage.
You leave transformed
After 3 to 7 days, you will have spoken French for hours every day, met authentic Quebecers, overcome the fear of speaking, discovered Quebec culture from within, and created memories that last a lifetime.

An immersion, not a class.
“You're not here to memorize verb lists.”
You're here to live, play, laugh, paddle, listen, understand, respond. French becomes yours when you live it—in cabins by the water, around the campfire, like family.
Why it's different
Natural immersion
Learn French by living authentic experiences, not by memorizing lists.
Authentic community
Meet real Quebecers and create lasting bonds in a warm setting.
At the heart of nature
Quebec becomes your classroom: lake, forest, river and outdoor activities.
Quebec authenticity
Discover Quebec culture, expressions and way of life first-hand.
This is for you if...
You are an anglophone
(USA, English Canada) and you really want to speak French, not just read it in a textbook
You are an immigrant to Quebec
and you want to practice Quebec French in real life, with local people
You have taken classes before
but you struggle speaking and need practice in a judgment-free environment
You love nature
and you learn better by moving than by sitting still
You want to meet Quebecers
and discover their culture from the inside, not just visit as a tourist
You are a beginner or intermediate
our approach works for all levels
